Cloth bound boards are loosely bound, shadows of attempted repairs present on endpapers; corners & spine ends rubbed a bit raw, sunned spine. Pages, though, mostly clean & sharp, w/very occasional dot of foxing, on page with penned note in upper margin.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Second Printing, 1945. The interior of the book is clean and tight. The front free end paper has been neatly removed, and there is a former owner's bookplate on the fixed end paper. The red cloth covers are fresh, with some light wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is only in good condition, with a darkened spine, some edgewear and shallow chipping, and a small brown stain on the back panel. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
