Hardcover. Condition: VG+. Dust Jacket Condition: VG-. First Edition. Salmon paper covered boards, lettered in black. Light dampstaining at upper binding corner only has left slight darkening on rear corner and moderate darkening on front, otherwise mildly bumped front corners with a few tiny pinholes, very little other wear. Both pastedowns are unevenly toned with a bit of offsetting onto endpapers. Front flyleaf shows former owner's name stamp, along with her gift inscription dated 1966 in ink and a two-letter notation in black marker, otherwise unmarked. Salmon paper dust jacket shows dampstaining/tanning along length of spine panel and upper rear panel, toned along flap folds, a few soil marks, some rubbing to corners but still decently intact, now in mylar. Early New Directions issue, printed by D. P. Updyke's Merrymount Press, in its first edition, relatively scarce in hardcover and DJ. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.
Condition: Good. Good condition. Hardcover edition. Case Good. (religious poetry, devotions, prayers) A copy that has been read but remains intact.
