Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. London and Glasgow. Blackie and Sons Ltd. Undated but thought to be c.1938. Hard Cover. Imperial 8vo 11" x 7½" [27.9cm x 19cm] approx. 52 pp. Dust jacket is sadly absent. Boards are heavily rubbed at the corners and spine ends. There is a little bubbling to the rear board and a dint nearby. Blackie colophon to rear and two pen marks. Boards are rubbed through on the lower board in two places. Illustration to the upper board is still vivid. There are a total of 12 full page single side drawings as well as drawings to endpapers.
