Each volume sized as Pott 8vo 6¼ " x4 [15.8cm x 10cm] approx. 134pp-454 pp. Cloth boards beautifully illustrated with no dust jackets as issued. The titles are; 'Black Beauty' by Anna Sewell, 'Peter Pan' by. J. M. Barrie, 'The Call of the Wild' by Jack London, 'The Wind in the Willows' by Kenneth Grahame, 'The Secret Garden' by Frances Hodgson Burnett, 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' by Roger Lancelyn Green, 'Huckleberry Finn' by Mark Twain and 'Anne of Green Gables' by L. M. Montgomery. The spines are all in contrasting rainbow colours with 'Black Beauty' in black at the end. The slipcase is in fine condition with no wear to the covers or corners. The volumes have extremely minor bumps at the spine head but they are still of gift giving quality and present as new. There are different illustrators contributing line drawings to the texts.
