No group is more gung-ho about the sport of waterfowling than the young gunners who pursue ducks and geese with almost total abandon. Fired up with youthful hope, energy, and enthusiasm, and outfitted with the latest gear and the newest gadgets, these Generation X and Y hunters set out to conquer the perils of waterfowling, tame the elements, subdue nature...and suffer grievously in the process. Like the best-selling book Misery Loves Company, this is a word-and-picture exploration of the foibles, follies, and pratfalls associated with the world of waterfowling. Only now the energy has been kicked up a notch, the gear has been supercharged, and the tactics are wilder and more outrageous than ever. Call this a take-no-prisoners salute to misspent youth, if you will, but there are few places these guys and gals would rather be than in the bleak marshes and muck-ridden fields where ducks and geese abound. Written by Bill Buckley, and photographed by Bill Buckley, Lee Kjos, and David Sams.

About the Author:
Bill Buckley lives in Bozeman, Montana, and has been an avid waterfowler for more than 25 years. Contrary to what his friends say, he is not happy only when he's miserable. He just doesn't believe it's a good enough excuse not to go duck hunting. Buckley's photography is published in numerous outdoor magazines, and he is the author of Misery Loves Company: Waterfowling and the Relentless Pursuit of Self-Abuse and The Waterfowler's World.
