Rob is ready to hang up his boots, having dropped down a league each year since joining Aston Villa in his teens. In his last match for local team Cinderheath FC, he finds himself opposing his missing best friend's brother Zulfiqar on the local mosque team. This is May 2002, 9/11 still very vivid, the Tipton Three are in Guantanamo and anti-Islamic sentiment runs high. As the camera tracks out from the game, it reveals a beautiful and moving portrait of a whole community at risk.
