Just have a look at the customer reviews- they sum it up much
better than I could (or in a more unbiased way at least), especially Mr
Skinner's, who I have never met before in my life, honest! (To be fair, he
never bothered to tell me he'd written the review- I just stumbled across
it six months after he'd written it).

From the Author:
Two things from the "used copy" sales- i) can't believe one
copy (the cheapest) is unread (read it! You might just like it!); ii) can't
believe someone else is flogging it for £88- methinks someone's finger got
stuck on the '8' button.
All you footy haters out there, don't be put off- there's hardly any
football in it, as all the reviews in serious football publications
mentioned (and they got really grumpy about it, the humourless gets- "The
extent of his footballing insight never goes much further than 'we hate the
pigs'" - and your problem is exactly?)

Most of the feedback I got was positive, and there are a million more tales
to be told- watch out for the Stonehenge Summer Solstice adventures book,
and the one about my sad life hitchhiking around causing a nuisance for
poor-old Cardiacs (in fairness, Kavus has read the book more times than me,
and he reads extracts out to the rest of the band sat in Cardiacs
tree-house round at Tim's place).
And for those that have read the book, no, I don't speak to Katrina
anymore!
Love and peace- Adrian (Belch)

From the Back Cover:
Lovers of football tend to be slightly crazy, and supporters of Sheffield United are no different. However, very few will have gone so far as Adrian Bell, as he took even his hitchhiking standards to excessive levels in 2000/2001. Follow his highs and lows in this fan's diary with a difference...

'A great lunatic...' Richard Littlejohn, 606, Radio Five Live

'Rapidly overtaking Sean Bean as the Blades' most famous fan...' From the Terrace

'It shows what lengths a truly dedicated Blade will go in order to see his heroes in action...' Richard Caborn MP, Minister for Sport
