David Fontana, B.A, M.Ed., Ph.D. is a fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Chartered Psychologist and a Chartered Counselling Psychologist. Currently he is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Cardiff University and Professor of Transpersonal Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University. He has also held professorships at the University of Minho and the University of the Algarve in Portugal.
