I wrote this book because I know we all have enormous unrealised potential within ourselves, which we can use to transform and improve our organisations and our lives. Inner Leadership contains over 20 case studies and nearly 30 exercises which enable you to recognise the deep resources you have and apply them, taking the lead wherever you are in your organisation.

Corporate transformation can only take place where there is individual transformation. Simon Smith spent twenty years in the financial and investment sector as an investment analyst and venture capitalist. Much of his work was concerned with privatizations and the management of enormous cultural and personal change. Intrigued as to why some privatizations were hugely successful while others failed, he undertook a 4-year psychology training course to increase his understanding of himself and others. He now works as a change consultant and counsellor with Creative Learning Consultants and numbers among his clients multinational public and private companies in the UK and Europe, as well as individuals who want to increase their effectiveness. He is also the founder of Mentoring Ltd through which he promotes the Inner Leadership programme.
