It provides facts about their geographical origins, their nomadic lifestyle, conquests, weapons, currency, religion, tents, food and clothes. There are instructions on how to make a Mongol hat and a description of Mongol craft which was often decorated with silver. The Mongols told many stories about the world about them from which information about their life has derived. Included in the book is one of these tales. Today, Mongolia is a remote and secret country and not much has been dug up from the Mongol period. Archaeologists are still working on important sites.
