'Although intended for children, I can think of a few women who would like to read these succinct portraits of the world's goddesses. Those covered are from many cultures, all revealing different aspects of feminine power. For mothers to read to their daughters (and fathers to their sons if they want to give them a head start in a life with female company), you can't fail to cherish this book.' --Wave
