Sequel to The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Class Now Available in Mass Market Edition

"I think my students get even more from the class when you help me, Lamar."

Emma Yoder Miller has been teaching several quilting classes alongside her husband Lamar, who has a knack for creating unique quilting patterns. But as signup for this new class is slow and only three people have responded by the class date, they start to think they should take a break. . . . That is until God sends them some last-minute students who are in special need of the friendship and wisdom Emma and Lamar have a way of displaying through their teaching. Will Emma and Lamar learn along with their students that God's timing is perfect?

Selma is a belittling busybody. Terry is a rugged roofer who just wants a casual date with a pretty classmate. Blaine loses a bet and has to join the class, where he soon finds himself in friendly competition with Terry. Anna's mother signs her up in a desperate attempt to keep Anna from leaving the Amish faith. Carmen holds tightly to bitterness while hiding her secret motives for taking the class. And Cheryl has a broken, mistrusting heart that needs just as much mending as the tattered quilt she brings.

Members of this new patchwork group find friendship, faith, healing, and restoration while gathered around their quilts, under the Father's guiding hands--for only He can take what's ragged and shabby from the lives of His children and turn it into beauty for His glory.

Review:
I know that there is not a doubt in my mind that I loved this book. The relationships that are built during the quilting classes amaze me and totally didn't go the way I expected.--Tammy Graham"Blogspot.com" (06/17/2013)

I fell in love with Emma in The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club and was thrilled to continue to read about Emma and her new marriage to Latham. I really enjoyed seeing the characters from the first book and how their lives intertwine with the new quilters. I got some great tips on quilting as a bonus!--Rhonda Nash-Hall"blogspot.com" (07/03/2013)

I love books by Wanda Brunstetter! I love the fact that Brunstetter puts the most unlikely to want to learn quilting in Emma's classes. She puts in characters who have somewhat ulterior motives. This adds interest and an element of engagement to the story. The characters are likable and story always moves along well. I hope there are more books to come in this series!--Sally Riley"thefriendlybooknook.com" (07/03/2013)

I really enjoyed how the author was able to mix the old characters and new characters. She has written a very well written and entertaining story. I liked the first book but really enjoyed "Tattered Quilt." I could not put it down!!!!!!! A definite Sunday afternoon read!!!!!--Dawn Escobedo"sundayafternoonread.blogspot.com" (07/07/2013)

I do recommend this book, especially if you want a good, clean read that doesn't have an overwhelming Amish nor romance feel to it. A great mixture of characters to show that we most definitely are all different.--Jodie Moore"Not So 31" (08/02/2013)

The impact of first impressions is well demonstrated by Brunstetter's delightful collection of characters in her latest Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club story. Mending tattered lives, miraculous transformations, faith and friendship abound in this sequel that can stand alone. While not her typical Amish tale, the heartwarming scenes, family values and convincing characters still make the reader a part of the story - and the quilting club.--Leslie L. McKee"RT Book Reviews" (09/01/2013)

What makes this book such fun to read is how it is told through all the classmates eyes. It reads like a Christian soap opera, if there were such a thing. There's romance between several characters, there are personal struggles and so much more. This series isn't your typical Amish read and that's what makes it such fun. I love Emma and her husband Lamar. They really seem to pull the goodness out of everyone.--Andrea Guy"A Chick Who Reads" (08/06/2013)

"The Tattered Quilt" by Wanda Brunstetter is a 5 star book. If you love Wanda Brunstettler books this will be one of your favorites.--Debbie Curto"Debbie's Dusty Deliberations" (08/06/2013)

It was a highly satisfying read nonetheless and I will definitely be buying a print copy to add to my collection of feel-good and heart-warming books which I read several times.--Sian Williams"The Garden Window" (08/09/2013)

As the story progressed, each chapter takes a turn at highlighting the individual student's life and how they slowly but surely come to learn life-lessons from the patient and loving Millers. It's fun to see the changes these folks undergo and how they become much better people as a result of the classes. If you love Amish-themed stories, you will love Wanda's "Quilting Club" series.--Sharon Galligar Chance"Garden of Books" (09/30/2013)
