This is the first book survey the glories of New York's interior landmarks with carefully researched text and splendid new colour photography. Design historian Judith Gura is on the faculty of the New York School of Interior Design and a contributing editor to Art+ Auction magazine. Her previous books include Guide to Period Styles for Interiors, A History of Interior Design, Design After Modernism, and New York Interior Design, 1935 1985. President of the advocacy group Landmark West!, Kate Wood is on the faculty of the Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation, and Planning at Columbia University.
