About the Author:
Bruce Roberts is a photographer whose work has appeared in Life, Sports Illustrated, and Time-Life Books. For many years he was Senior Travel Photographer for Southern Living magazine. He is the recipient of many photography awards, and some of his photos are in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution. Ray Jones is a writer and publishing consultant living in Pacific Grove, California. He has written or co-written numerous other books about lighthouses, including Lost Lighthouses, Endangered Lighthouses, American Lighthouses, Legendary Lighthouses, and all eight books in the Globe Pequot Lighthouses series. He has served as an editor for Time-Life Books, as founding editor of Albuquerque Living magazine, as senior editor and writing coach at Southern Living magazine, and a publisher of County Roads Press.
