From the Inside Flap:
This thoughtful and ambitious book explores the challenges of change, evolution, and growth. Stepping away from the idea of purpose as principles that define the reasons for a company's existence, how and why individuals in organizations work to create meaning is explored.Using examples from popular culture and drawing on studies from the sciences, Making Purpose Work explores how we go about creating meaning using five elements of purpose: self-identity, expectations, unity, fear, and instincts. With new insights into how beliefs impact our actions, the book communicates how these elements work together to help us form happy, nurturing, enduring, and productive relationships within our environments.
