About the Author:
Olga Watkins was born in Yugoslavia in 1923. The day before she had planned to leave London in 1963 to return home to Yugoslavia she met Gerry Watkins, an Irishman who worked in the civil service, at a dance hall in Leicester Square. They married in January 1964 and were together until his death in 2013. They had no children. Olga died on 10th December 2016. James Gillespie is a journalist who has worked for The Daily Mail and The Daily Telegraph.
