Set in a Mexican village and peppered with Spanish phrases, this picture book draws on traditional stories to give a funny lesson about the hazards of being too competitive. After an ingenious test, devised by a little boy, the villagers decide that they need both Hercules and Socrates equally - but they don't need their endless bickering!
