Synopsis:
This is the story of 23 year-old Sana Hasan, Harvard-educated daughter of Egypt's US Ambassador and wife of a high-ranking Egyptian politician who defied taboo in crossing over into forbidden Israel. She reveals Israel's flaws but finds the equivalent Arab flaws as well. During her stay, she interviewed many Israelis including Peres, Begin, Sharon and Meir. She talked with rabbis, cab drivers and prostitutes; worked in the potato fields of a kibbutz; and was a scullery maid in the kitchen of the King David Hotel.
