From the New York Times best-selling authors of Rad Women Worldwide and Rad American Women A-Z, a bold and brave collection of stories and art about inspiring and accomplished girls who have made positive impacts on the world before the age of 20.

You might know the stories of Malala Yousafzai, Anne Frank, Jazz Jennings, and Joan of Arc. But have you heard about Yusra Mardini, a Syrian refugee who swam a sinking boat to shore, saved twenty lives, then went on to compete as an Olympic swimmer? Or Trisha Prabhu, who invented an anti-cyberbullying app at age 13? Or Barbara Rose Johns, whose high school protest helped spark the civil rights movement?

In Rad Girls Can, you'll learn about a diverse group of young women who are living rad lives, whether excelling in male-dominated sports like boxing, rock climbing, or skateboarding; speaking out against injustice and discrimination; expressing themselves through dance, writing, and music; or advocating for girls around the world. Each profile is paired with the dynamic paper-cut art that made the authors' first two books New York Times best sellers. Featuring both contemporary and historical figures, Rad Girls Can offers hope, inspiration, and motivation to readers of all ages and genders.

Review:
Praise for Rad Women Worldwide:

"An international array of badass women through the ages and up to the present...[and] a happy contrast to so many Eurocentric "world" surveys." --Kirkus Reviews

"[R]eadily accessible to children and teens...Stahl's cut-paper portraits provide handsome visual tributes to the women." --Publishers Weekly

"This collection of energetic profiles is sure to spark discussion and encourage readers passionate about women's history and rights to do further research." --School Library Journal

"[F]resh, engaging, and inspiring tales of perseverance and radical success...pairing well researched and riveting biographies with powerful and expressive cut-paper portraits." --BookRiot

"Fascinating stories of women doing bold, pioneering, and meaningful things in times ranging from ancient Mesopotamia to the present day. Lots to learn about in fields of science, medicine, mountain climbing, the arts, literature, and much more. Every story is eye-opening, whether the woman profiled is widely known or previously unknown outside her home country." --Common Sense Media

"For an excellent new book about 40 pioneering women who challenged their societies' limitations on women, we highly recommend Rad Women Worldwide for ages 10 and up." --A Mighty Girl

"In the current era of America, I don't know of any books more important to inspire all young girls (and old dads like me) to succeed. This book should be required reading for all elementary schools. And someone should read it to the head resident of The White House. Rad Girls Can continues the essential series of books and takes it to new heights."--W. Kamau Bell, Emmy-winning TV host, comic, and author

"The world belongs to young women. This book tells us who some of them are. Join them or get out of the way."--Daniel Handler, aka Lemony Snicket

"The Rad series just keeps getting better! The kids I've read this with are immediately engrossed--which I think is the most telling measure of a book. They flip back and forth through the pages wanting to know whoeach young person is, finding possibility in the stories of others both like themselves, and very different, from around the world."--Innosanto Nagara, author of A is for Activist
