Before I wrote novels I was a television comedy writer. I worked for Sonny and Cher and wrote jokes and sketches for their show. So when I started writing novels it was natural that they'd contain plenty of humor. Everyone who read my novel, Beaches, told me they laughed through their tears and that it felt good to do that. When I Fall In Love is my seventh novel and I think it has many of the elements that my readers loved in Beaches. What Beaches did for friendship, this book does for romance. And the woman character is a comedy writer. I won't spoil it by telling you the story, but I am certain it will make you laugh in places, and move you to tears too.
