When an Ogre demands to have one of their fair maidens for dinner, the townspeople decide that the poorest girl should be their gift, but after she is taken away by the Ogre, the young girl uses her sharp mind to outwit the beast and ends up returning home with a purse full of gold and other valuable prizes to everyone's shock and amazement.
