From the Author:
This novel is a "bleeding edge" computer technothriller!
Every wonder how safe your money is in internet banks? Or how much hackers really know about your company? Or who else reads your email? If you do, then you must read THE TERMINATION NODE, a new novel already being called the most frightening and believable book every written about internet crime. Set only a few years in the future, THE TERMINATION NODE is the most accurate computer thriller yet published. Lois H. Gresh has worked in the computer field for more than twenty years and everything in this novel is authentic. This isn't Hollywood's notion of hackers on skateboards with neon hair, but the real thing. The novel has been called "Refreshing and frighteining...An early warning of 21st century crime and terrorism" by the ex-chairman of DARPA, (the government agency that invented the internet). Judy Carmody, a computer security specialist, thought she had seen everything, until the night she witnesses a cyber-heist that wipes out millions of dollars from a major bank in seconds. Forced on the run by a pair of ruthless killers, Judy knows that she must crack this deadly code before the biggest bank robbery in history takes place. In a world online, no one is safe, nothing is private, no transaction is secure. Ripped right from today's newspaper headlines, THE TERMINATION NODE is the most frightening - and most believable - cyberthriller you'll ever read.
