From the Author:
This is a book about practical workplace spirituality .
ANSWERS FROM WITHIN helps the reader come to terms with the relevance of religious faith to normal, everyday working life. It explains the relationship between the Saturday- or Sunday-centered preoccupations of believers and the Monday-through-Friday occupations that are theirs. The book offers a spirituality that is supportive of busy men and women who want to find a way for their commitments to God and work to become mutually reinforcing. The "answers" in ANSWERS FROM WITHIN are a blueprint for making the workplace more humane and respectful of human dignity; persons who possesses them can walk with God through all the challenges of life. The nine spiritual guidelines developed in this book are: love joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. The reader learns how these biblically-based virtues can become practical pillars of support from nine to five (or later) in any workplace every day. This book aims to help any reflective person close the gap between faith and work.
